We are currently are recruiting for the role of a registered night Staff nurse - RN (active NMC pin required) in a care home in Shropshire, UK on a part-time basis. The staff nurse is responsible for the nursing care of all residents and in ensuring the smooth transfer of knowledge and information to the wider Staff Nursing team i.e. shift handovers. The Staff Nurse leads a team of Senior Healthcare Assistants and Healthcare Assistants in meeting the personal care needs of all residents, in a manner which promotes their independence, respects their dignity and delivers the highest possible standard of living to each of our residents.

Key responsibilities:

• Care for residents to the standard and style of Cheswardine Hall Residential and Nursing home
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the Home 
• Maintain the Home’s good relationships with relatives and visitors
• To support Management
• Be a working member of the Care Team
• Lead the Care team
• Ensure Cheswardine Hall’s policies and procedures are followed 
• Ensure that all records and reports are promptly and properly maintained to the required standards
• Assist management with other tasks as required.
